Partnership with Children is seeking a Social Work Director for the School Year '25/'26 to work in New York City public schools, focusing on providing social and emotional support to youth affected by poverty and trauma.
About the Role
As a Social Work Director, you will engage in direct practice by providing individual counseling, facilitating group counseling, and collaborating with school staff. You will also supervise social work staff, ensuring high-quality case management and data collection, while developing positive relationships within the school community.
About You
Required:
Commitment to demonstrating organizational values of Collaboration, Continuous Learning, Going to Solution, Equity & Inclusion, and Passion.
At least one year’s experience in a school setting, strong experience working with students and families.
New York State LMSW/LCSW or LCSW eligibility.
Preferred:
SIFI certification with at least one year’s experience supervising social work interns.
Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible and can-do attitude.
Benefits
Salary range of $70k-$80k annually, commensurate with experience.
