About the Role
As a Social Worker, Inpatient, you will conduct patient and family interviews, prepare psychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, provide counseling and crisis intervention, and direct patients to community resources. You will coordinate health care plans, evaluate care based on quality and cost-effectiveness, and maintain continuity of care through collaboration with the health care team. Your responsibilities will also include advocating for patient rights, addressing ethical issues, and participating in quality improvement processes.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree in social work from an accredited graduate school.
- Current State of Michigan Master’s Degree Social Work License (or Limited License MSW).
Preferred:
- Experience in a clinical setting providing social work services.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
