Summary
Auria Space is seeking a Software Database Engineer to support the development, maintenance, and deployment of the Wideband SATCOM Trend Analysis & Anomaly Resolution Subsystem (WSTARS) for the Department of Defense (DOD) Satellite Communication (SATCOM) Enterprise. This role is on-site at locations including Ft Detrick MD, Ft. Meade MD, or Orlando, FL.
About the Role
As a Software Database Engineer, you will develop, document, test, and debug software solutions for business and mission problems. You will design and implement databases, apply standards throughout the development life cycle, and diagnose integration issues. Familiarity with Windows environments and relational databases is essential, and you will work in a dynamic environment requiring strong communication skills and teamwork.
About You
Required:
- Active U.S. Government SECRET security clearance.
- Experience with design and implementation of data warehousing technologies including relational and nonrelational databases, SQL, and data analytics.
- Experience supporting PostgreSQL database management systems on Windows or Linux.
- Experience in full lifecycle project development.
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
- Experience working on Agile Teams and SAFe methodologies.
- Ability to obtain Security+ or other DoD Level 2 Security Certification within 6 months.
Preferred:
- Active US DoD Top Secret Clearance.
- Master of Science in Engineering or other STEM discipline.
- Experience in implementing automation solutions using Ansible.
- Experience with DevOps Processes and Cloud Infrastructure.
- Systems administration experience in Windows, Linux, and VM environments.
- Understanding of enterprise-level computing platforms.
