About the Role
As a Software Developer/Database Management Specialist - GIS Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting GIS application development and integration in web and mobile applications, maintaining SQL server databases, and performing geographic data digitizing. You will also create geospatial databases and provide hardware and software support for GIS and facilities management programs.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, information technology, systems and network administration, software engineering, or computer engineering.
- Experience with common desktop applications (i.e., MS Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Familiarity with relational database management systems (RDBMS) such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
Preferred:
- Experience with Esri software (such as ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Desktop, and/or ArcGIS Pro).
- Knowledge of GIS application development/integration focusing on ArcGIS.
- Experience in data acquisition and application of GIS and image processing software.
