About the Role
As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for creating safety-critical real-time embedded software for various spaceflight systems. Your responsibilities will include requirements gathering, design, implementation, integration, and testing of software components and tools essential for the success of New Glenn's mission.
About You
Required:
- B.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or related discipline.
- 2+ years of experience writing software in C, C++, and Python.
- Solid understanding of embedded software, kernel development, BSPs or other systems software components.
- Good understanding of operating systems and network protocols fundamentals.
Preferred:
- M.S. degree in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, aerospace engineering or related discipline.
- Experience with real-time operating systems.
- Experience with safety-critical software development in aerospace, automotive or other industries.
- Solid understanding of software interfaces with hardware components and programmable logic.
