About the Role
As a Software Development Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing full-stack GIS products, building software that adheres to industry standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your work will include designing, testing, and releasing capabilities in the ArcGIS platform, solving complex application design problems, and working effectively in an Agile Scrum environment.
About You
Required:
- 2+ years of professional experience in a similar position.
- Strong foundation in object-oriented software principles.
- Experience with software development using C++.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a STEM-related field.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a STEM-related field.
- Experience in developing C++ COM components.
- Experience in UI development using XAML/WPF.
- Knowledge of building RESTful web services.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (JavaScript, Python).
- Experience developing against relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience using Git as a source management system in large teams.
- Experience using Visual Studio for software development.
