Themis Insight, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer (Data Management) to join their team in Linthicum Heights, MD. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex software systems to support an analytics team focused on delivering reliable data.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer (Data Management), you will be responsible for developing and enhancing software systems that handle processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, and manipulation of large data sets. You will work both individually and as part of a team, reviewing and testing software components, resolving software problem reports, and providing input on system design.
About You
Required:
- Seven (7) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Strong background in analytics development.
- Proficiency in Pig and PySpark.
- TS/SCI with a Polygraph.
Preferred:
- Experience with patch management and IAVA tracking.
- Programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with NiFi and Ansible.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
