Summary
First Advantage is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in a remote capacity within the United States. The role involves developing software solutions primarily using cloud technology and mentoring junior developers.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering software for the criminal fulfillment team, coordinating with team leads and testing teams across multiple time zones, and mentoring junior developers. You will work closely with product managers, DevOps, QA, and other teams to ensure high-quality software solutions.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in software development using Java or .NET.
- Experience with building UI applications using frameworks such as Angular.
- 1+ year experience building cloud-native applications on AWS or Azure.
- 2+ years of experience working with RDMS systems like Oracle, SQL Server, or Postgres.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred:
- Working knowledge of Gen AI or Machine Learning.
- Familiarity with basic Unix commands and shell scripts.
- Experience with Agile/scrum processes and familiarity with GitHub and Azure DevOps.
