Figma is seeking a Software Engineer, AI Infrastructure to join their team, focusing on building core infrastructure for machine learning models and enhancing design collaboration tools.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer, AI Infrastructure, you will be responsible for building infrastructure to train, deploy, and serve machine learning models at scale. You will collaborate with ML engineers to develop internal tools for model experimentation and work alongside applied research and product engineers to enhance Figma's design tools. Your role will involve applying industry best practices and a first-principles approach to design and build ML infrastructure.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, specifically in backend or infrastructure engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in machine learning, machine learning infrastructure, or data infrastructure.
- Proven experience deploying ML models and implementing the full lifecycle of model development.
- Experience communicating and working across functions to drive solutions.
Preferred:
- Proven track record of planning multi-year roadmap in which shorter-term projects ladder to the long-term vision.
- Experience in mentoring/influencing senior engineers across organizations.
