About the Role

As a Software Engineer, Android, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative application experiences, implement custom user interfaces, develop reusable software components, analyze and optimize code, lead technical efforts, architect scalable systems, and establish ownership of components with a deep understanding of the systems involved.

About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
6+ years of programming experience in a relevant language or 3+ years of experience + PhD.
Track record of setting technical direction for a team and driving successful cross-functional partnerships.
Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques.

Preferred:

2+ years experience building Android applications in Java or Kotlin using Android SDK.
Experience with multithreading programming and mobile memory management.
Shipped at least one large-scale product to production, supporting millions of active users.
