Moveworks is seeking a Software Engineer, Core Infrastructure to join their team in Mountain View, CA. The role involves architecting the next generation of the Moveworks AI infrastructure and ensuring reliable and resilient foundational services.

About the Role

As a Software Engineer in the Core Infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and operating foundational services that allow Moveworks' products to scale seamlessly. Your tasks will include collaborating with various teams to understand their infrastructure needs, architecting core functionalities such as distributed data stores and event streaming, improving system observability and reliability, and defining performance metrics for microservices.

About You

Required:

Experience designing, building, shipping, and maintaining backend distributed systems.
Familiarity with Python, Golang, Java, or C++.
Experience with containers/Docker and cloud infrastructure like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Experience with open source technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch, or Istio.
BS+ in computer science or a related field.

Preferred:

Desire to work at a startup pace with a high degree of ownership.
Experience solving for performance, optimization, scalability, latency, and monitoring.
Strong motivation and an appetite for continuous learning.
