Summary

F5 is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their team in the Greater Seattle Area. The role involves designing and implementing high-performance micro-services and delivering software as a service in the cloud.

About the Role

As a Software Engineer III, you will be responsible for API development, deployment, and debugging. You will take ownership of components, collaborate with your team and technical leaders, and research new areas of technology. This position is a growth opportunity where you will learn quickly in a hands-on environment and contribute to the success of the F5 Distributed Cloud group.

About You

Required:

Typically 5+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong proficiency in Go programming language or other backend languages.
Hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
Strong understanding of software engineering practices, including testing, security, and continuous delivery.

Preferred:

Experience with cloud technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, and Git.
Experience in frameworks such as gRPC, Google Protobuf, and Kafka.
Proven skill in written and verbal communications.
