Lodestar Space is seeking a Software Engineer - Localization, State Estimation & Prediction to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. The role involves leading the development of state estimation and prediction models for their flagship product, MITHRIL.

As a Software Engineer - Localization, State Estimation & Prediction, you will design and implement core state estimation and prediction architecture for autonomous spacecraft operations. Your responsibilities will include researching and implementing novel algorithms, developing estimators to track dynamic targets, creating neural models for trajectory forecasting, and integrating models into mission simulation environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure prediction fidelity and scalability across missions.
