About the Role

As a Software Engineer, Machine Learning, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative application experiences, implement custom user interfaces, develop reusable software components, analyze and optimize code, lead technical efforts, architect scalable systems, and resolve performance issues. You will work with various coding languages and technologies, establishing ownership of components and systems.

About You

Required:

Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years of programming experience in a relevant language OR a PhD + 9 months programming experience in a relevant language.
Track record of setting technical direction for a team and driving successful cross-functional partnerships.
Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques.

Preferred:

2+ years of experience in machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, artificial intelligence, or a related technical field.
Experience with developing machine learning models at scale from inception to business impact.
Exposure to architectural patterns of large scale software applications.
Experience with scripting languages such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Python, JavaScript or Hack.
Proven experience to translate insights into business recommendations.
Experience improving quality through thoughtful code reviews, appropriate testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive changes.
Knowledge developing and debugging in C/C++ and Java, or experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, PHP, and/or shell scripts.
