Summary
C2R Ventures is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining a high-performance order routing system for equities, options, and futures.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC) in a high-performance environment. Your tasks will include researching, designing, developing, and testing software components using C++ on Linux. You will collaborate closely with traders and technical teams to analyze user needs and software requirements, ensuring feasibility within time, cost, and performance constraints.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related discipline plus 5 years of progressive experience developing software applications.
- Experience with object-oriented design and software development in a high-performance environment using C++ (preferably in a Linux environment).
Preferred:
- Experience with .NET or Java.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to balance technical solutions with time to market considerations.
