Summary
Santé is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in New York, NY. The role involves enhancing and maintaining their modernized Point-of-Sales (POS) system tailored for the wine and liquor store industry.
About the Role
As a Founding Software Engineer, you will be responsible for driving resiliency in existing systems and developing new market differentiators. You will work closely with various subsystems, including inventory management and ordering, to ensure they meet customer challenges. Your initial goals will include familiarizing yourself with the subsystems, implementing enhancements, and expanding customer features to unlock new revenue streams.
About You
Required:
- Strong computer science background or equivalent production experience managing systems under load, with at least 5 years of experience.
- Experience with cloud services, specifically AWS, and the ability to build and diagnose enterprise systems.
Preferred:
- Experience deploying event-driven systems using ECS and Kafka.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complexity in software development.
