About the Role

As a Software Engineer, you will engage in solution design, development, and implementation of IT solutions for Reinsurance. You will build and implement complex, large-scale applications, strategize the migration of FIRST applications to a modernized platform, and lead vendor development teams while collaborating with internal IT architects. Your role will also involve conducting technical reviews of legacy applications to identify modernization opportunities and ensuring that technical solutions align with business objectives.

About You

Required:

A minimum of 10+ years of hands-on development experience building end-to-end software applications utilizing the Microsoft technology stack: C#, .Net Framework, Genius, Informatica Power Center, API-driven integrations.
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Information Technology or a related technical discipline.
Deep understanding of SQL Server and database architecture, with the ability to develop and maintain PL/SQL Packages, Stored Procedures, Triggers, and Functions in SQL Server.
Expertise in developing and securing web services using C# and .NET.
Working knowledge of reinsurance processes and practices.

Preferred:

Knowledge of Agile Project Management and DevOps tools and practices, including JIRA, ServiceNow, and GitHub.
Experience with cloud solutions, preferably Azure.
Familiarity with Policy Administration, Claims, Billings, and Collection.
