Summary
SWIVEL is seeking a Software Engineer to join their team in San Antonio, TX. The role involves developing and maintaining Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions and core internal integrations while mentoring other developers.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer at SWIVEL, you will work within self-organized Agile teams to build systems that interface with clients, automate processes, and eliminate repetitive tasks. You will respond to issues, collaborate with product partners, prepare wireframes, conduct peer reviews, and guide junior developers. This position offers opportunities to learn and implement new technologies in a dynamic product portfolio.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or four-year university or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in software development with knowledge of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Strong background in C#, HTML, JavaScript, XML, and JSON.
- Experience with relational databases and advanced SQL performance troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of Agile principles with experience in Scrum or Kanban.
Preferred:
- Proven efficiency in programming languages including Node.js, ASP .NET, TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
- Exposure to microservice architecture and cloud-native services (preferably AWS).
- Experience in a continuous integration (CI) environment.
- Familiarity with team development tools like Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, JIRA, GIT.
- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, React.
