Summary
JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join their Consumer and Community banking technology team in Atlanta, GA. The role involves enhancing, designing, and delivering software components for the firm's technology products.
About the Role
As a Software Engineer III, you will be part of an agile team responsible for executing software solutions, designing and developing various components, and troubleshooting technical issues. You will write secure and high-quality code, apply knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, and contribute to a culture of diversity and inclusion.
About You
Required:
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with core Java, Spring, and REST services.
- Strong Java, J2EE, and Microservices development experience.
- Strong experience in RDBMS (Oracle).
- Strong technical development experience in writing code, code reviews, and best practices.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud technology, containers, and Kafka or any streaming technology.
- Experience with source control tools like GIT.
- Good understanding of Jenkins CI/CD, Maven/Gradle.
- Excellent knowledge in developing resilient and high-quality deliverables.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies.
- Exposure to public cloud technologies.
- Experience with Splunk and Dynatrace tools.
