About the Role
As a Software Engineer on the Office AI Platform team, you will be responsible for developing features that are part of Office AI's core platform, contributing to high-scale, latency-sensitive production systems. You will work closely with senior engineers to implement improvements across services and APIs, debug live issues, and write clean, high-quality code in languages such as C#, TypeScript, or JavaScript. Your role will also involve adding logging and metrics for observability, contributing to tests and CI pipelines, and participating in code reviews and design discussions.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, software engineering fundamentals, and Distributed System Design.
Preferred:
- Internship or project experience building backend services, APIs, or client-server applications.
- Familiarity with testing practices, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud-hosted services.
- Exposure to distributed systems, telemetry, or debugging production systems.
- Curiosity about AI-powered applications, large-scale platforms, or developer tooling.
