Summary
Collins Aerospace is seeking a Software Platform Developer to join their team in a hybrid role based in Puerto Rico. The position involves providing IT systems administration for the eQube DaaS platform and developing automation scripts for deployment.
About the Role
As a Software Platform Developer, you will be responsible for IT systems administration for the eQube DaaS platform hosted on AWS Linux environment, installing necessary software for compliance, developing automation scripts, monitoring infrastructure health, and troubleshooting technical problems. You will work in a fast-paced environment and may need to work beyond standard hours as systems are operational 24x7.
About You
Required:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience.
- Experience with DevSecOps.
- Experience with infrastructure/application administration.
Preferred:
- Experience with Cloud Computing.
- Experience with Linux.
- Experience with containers.
- Experience with AWS scripting (Cloud Formation or Terraform), Azure, Kubernetes.
- Practical knowledge of MySQL databases, including setup, management, and troubleshooting.
- Experience using and administrating the Atlassian Suite, GitLab.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, security automation, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Scripting Languages: Perl, Python.
