Summary
MAG Aerospace is seeking a Software Systems Architect – EW&C to support the PM EWC Architecture and Interoperability Division in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The role involves coordinating interoperability and integration across product offices to enhance warfighting capabilities.
About the Role
As a Software Systems Architect, you will provide software systems architecture support to facilitate integration and interoperability across the PM EW&C portfolio, including Electronic Warfare, Cyber, and SIGINT. Your responsibilities will include tracking and reporting testing opportunities, identifying collaborative operations, and providing multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for technical problems.
About You
Required:
- Active Secret Clearance
- 5 or more years’ experience in software engineering including integration and systems engineering.
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM related discipline.
- 5 years of Systems engineering experience with system stakeholders to translate operational requirements into system/software requirements.
- 2 or more years in cyber, cloud-based web-platforms, Information Technology, or C4ISR systems.
- Experience with software interfaces, data exchange, and networking.
- Experience with virtualized environments and automation tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, VMs, VMWare, Ansible).
- Experience with programming languages such as Python.
- Experience with integrated architectures that support interoperability.
- Experience developing milestone charts and swim lane diagrams.
Preferred:
- Excellent organizational, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex technical issues to non-technical stakeholders.
