About the Role
As a Solutions Engineer - Project Development, you will lead projects across site origination, permitting, and interconnection. Your responsibilities include running site screening processes, translating regulatory requirements into clear roadmaps, building internal tooling to automate workflows, championing customer insights in product discussions, and mentoring Associate Solutions Engineers to enhance project delivery.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in renewable energy, data center infrastructure, or utility-scale development.
- Hands-on comfort with GIS tools to analyze geospatial or interconnection data.
- Strong communication skills to interface with landowners, utilities, and permitting agencies.
- Understanding of project economics, interconnection milestones, and permitting workflows.
Preferred:
- Prior experience at a high-growth startup or deployment-focused consultancy.
- Exposure to permitting in local jurisdictions and working with AHJs.
- Hands-on comfort with Python or internal scripting frameworks to automate tasks.
