Summary

BB Imaging is seeking a Sonographer (OB/MFM) to join their team in Ocala, FL. The role involves performing sonographic procedures and providing high-quality diagnostic imaging across various clinic sites.

About the Role

As a Sonographer, you will work closely with physician partners, provide compassionate patient care, and deliver diagnostic imaging. Your responsibilities include performing sonographic procedures, traveling to clinic sites, inspecting patient charts, creating reports, evaluating sonograms, and communicating findings to physicians. You will also provide guidance for amniocentesis and maintain sonography equipment.

About You

Required:

Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited educational program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with an OB/GYN specialty.
Knowledgeable of human anatomy and medical terminology related to OB/GYN specialty.
Knowledge of applied physics related to ultrasound.
Compliant with HIPAA as it relates to the use of EMR systems.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Calm under pressure and compassionate with patients.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Preferred:

Registered in Fetal Echocardiogram (FE).
Credentialed in Nuchal Translucency, Nasal Bone, and Cervical Length.
1+ years high-risk OB and or MFM sonography experience.
Bachelor's degree in Sonography or other related fields of study.
