Summary
Ingersoll Rand is seeking a Sourcing Supervisor, Industrial Manufacturing to join their team in Sedalia or Springfield, MO or Bentleyville, PA (Hybrid). The role involves driving strategic sourcing initiatives within an aftermarket and distribution-focused supply chain.
About the Role
As a Sourcing Supervisor, you will own supplier negotiations, cost-reduction projects, and sourcing strategies that directly impact service levels, lead times, and total cost. You will develop and qualify new suppliers, improve performance across existing supply partners, and work closely with operations, engineering, and materials teams to ensure sourcing decisions support uptime, responsiveness, and growth.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in sourcing/supply chain/procurement in an industrial equipment manufacturing environment.
- 4+ years of direct experience working in an ERP Software.
- 4+ years demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
Preferred:
- Degree concentration in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business.
- Experience with establishing supply chain for aftermarket, quick-turn-around parts with focus on packaging.
- Experience with SAP, Oracle or similar.
- Advanced Excel proficiency preferred, including financial and logical functions, multi-worksheet/workbook management, and data import/export.
- APICS or similar professional certification.
