Summary
SAIC is seeking a Space Operations Center Ground System Engineer to join their team in Broomfield, CO. The role involves supporting Space Force's Resilient Missile Warning/Missile Tracking Ground Management Integration program by developing and delivering space operations for the integrated resilient ground segment.
About the Role
As a Space Operations Center Ground System Engineer, you will configure and manage the environment for MSOC software, ensuring proper operation and resolution of problems 24/7. You will lead the development of procedures, technical manuals, and operator training material, collaborate with associate contractors, and communicate effectively with program management to manage risks and ensure continuous system improvements.
About You
Required:
- Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance.
- Experience with the Department of Defense and/or the Intelligence Community satellite/payload and ground system architectures.
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience; OR Master's degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
- Superb technical skills and experience related to ground systems hardware and software.
- Ability to lead, effective interpersonal skills, and strong briefing and writing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and team environment with little supervision.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- Military experience.
- Deep knowledge of satellite tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, and dissemination architectures.
