CLOVEHITCH is seeking a Spanish Analytic Linguist to provide language analysis and intelligence support services in Philadelphia, PA. The role involves monitoring, transcription, translation, interpretation, validation, and summarization of foreign language communications.
About the Role
As a Spanish Analytic Linguist, you will monitor foreign language communications, provide real-time verbal and written summaries in English, transcribe and translate audio recordings, perform linguistic analysis, interpret communications, maintain logs, validate translation work, and support investigative activities. This position requires compliance with legal and operational requirements governing monitored communications.
About You
Required:
- Fluency in English and at least one foreign language.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum one year of experience performing language monitoring, translation, transcription, or interpretation services.
- Language proficiency equivalent to Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) level 3 or higher in English and the target language.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting real-time language monitoring or analytical linguist operations.
- Experience working in investigative or intelligence environments.
- Court interpreter certification or professional translation/interpreter certification.
- Experience with transcription, translation, and communications analysis tools.

- Flexible work schedules may include shifts covering 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.
