About the Role
As a Spanish GED Instructor, you will be responsible for planning and delivering instruction aligned with GED standards, developing lesson plans, administering assessments, tracking student progress, and fostering a supportive classroom environment. You will also collaborate with support staff and participate in professional development.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Spanish, Literacy, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Teaching certification or experience in adult education, ESL, or GED preparation.
- Fluency in Spanish and proficiency in English.
- Strong knowledge of GED content standards, especially in Language Arts.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
Preferred:
- Adult Education Endorsement (107)-can apply upon hire.
- Experience working with diverse, multilingual adult learners.
Benefits
- $45.00 per hour for 16 hours a week over 36 weeks.
