BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Spanish Speaking EMT-P to join their team in Thornton, CO. The role involves supporting plasma center operations as a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse).
About the Role
As a Spanish Speaking EMT-P, you will determine donor eligibility for plasma donation, manage donor adverse events, review laboratory test results, and notify donors of unsuitable test results. You will work under the guidance of the Plasma Center Manager and the Center Physician, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and providing support for environmental, health, and safety (EHS) matters.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent, including a recognized educational nursing program.
- Currently licensed or certified as an EMT-Paramedic in the state of responsibility.
- Current CPR and AED certification.
- Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
- Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
Preferred:
- Satisfactorily complete the FDA approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
