About the Role
As a Special Counsel - Civil Litigation, you will be responsible for conducting substantive discovery and depositions, developing winning case strategies, drafting persuasive motions and briefs, representing clients in state and federal courts, conducting legal research, and developing and maintaining strong client relationships. You will work within a collegial team environment that handles sophisticated litigation matters.
About You
Required:
- 4+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense, commercial litigation, professional liability, or construction defect.
- Exceptional research and writing capabilities.
- Demonstrated courtroom presence and deposition experience.
- North Carolina bar membership.
Preferred:
- Experience in handling construction litigation, trucking and transportation, products liability, and premises liability cases.
