About the Role
As a Special Education Assistant, you will work 2-3 days per week, providing assistance to school-age students with special needs. Your responsibilities will include interacting positively with students and staff, participating in training, and implementing learned techniques to support student learning. This position is based on a 10-month school year calendar.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to interact positively with school age students with special needs, teachers and other building staff.
- Availability to participate in training on special needs students and ability to implement learned techniques.
- Demonstrated record of good attendance.
Preferred:
- Prior experience working with special education or other special needs students.
