As a Special Education Paraeducator Assistant III, you will assist teaching staff in various classroom activities, prepare lesson outlines, develop instructional materials, and support students with disabilities. You will also participate in student IEPs, implement behavior management strategies, and maintain classroom discipline.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of at least 48 semester hours of credit at an accredited college or university, or an associate's degree or higher, or passing score on the ParaPro Assessment.
Preferred:
- Experience working with students with disabilities.
- Knowledge of education principles and techniques, including behavior modification.
