About the Role
As a Special Education RISE Teacher, you will teach various subjects to students with intellectual, behavioral, and physical disabilities. The position requires adapting lessons to meet student needs and maintaining communication with parents and staff regarding student progress.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution.
- Valid Texas state certification in Special Education.
Preferred:
- Experience in a Special Education classroom setting with students who have significant disabilities.
- Appropriate grade and subject band core content certification(s) or Texas Core Content Competency Worksheet.
