About the Role
As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans, collaborating with students, parents, and staff to manage the IEP process, and creating a supportive classroom environment. You will also evaluate and modify educational interventions based on student needs and progress.
About You
Required:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Flexible, positive attitude toward students with disabilities.
Competency with a variety of instructional strategies for individualized learning and behavioral intervention strategies.
Knowledge of research-based interventions for students with autism spectrum disorder including structured teaching, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and relationship-based interventions.
