About the Role
As a Special Education Teacher, you will provide a supportive and nurturing environment for K-12+ learners, focusing on academic, behavioral, and life skills. You will utilize the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to help students achieve success and work collaboratively with families to build positive relationships.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Special Education.
- Active Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certificate (Special Ed. PK-12 preferred).
- Experience teaching special education students with moderate to severe developmental disabilities.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
