Summary
City of Philadelphia is seeking a Special Project Coordinator for the Overdose Response Unit (ORU) to lead the implementation of the Naloxone in Black Campaign.
About the Role
As the Special Project Coordinator, you will coordinate the Naloxone in Black Campaign, which includes data collection, resource tracking, inventory management of naloxone, and conducting training sessions with community partners. You will also support other ORU projects as needed, working closely with various agencies and community organizations.
About You
Required:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in substance use response and/or community engagement.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience managing projects that require collaboration across different groups or teams.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in a relevant field.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience working in an urban environment with an appreciation for cultural, ethnic, and racial diversity.
