About the Role
As a Specialist, Environmental Test Mechanical Engineer, you will work with both operations and design engineering to design experiments and validate product performance across a wide variety of MIL-STD requirements. You will be responsible for understanding engineering architecture and design concepts, developing test systems, and ensuring compliance with environmental testing standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience, or 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience in product development, preferably in a military application environment.
- Experience in Environmental Testing with Mil-Spec criteria.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Preferred:
- Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience with planning and effectively coordinating projects.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Understanding of Cryogenics and experience with Mil-STD 810.
- Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
