Collins Aerospace is seeking a Specialist, Global Trade – Americas Customs to join their team in Winston-Salem, NC. This hybrid role focuses on establishing the foundation for the company's import processes and ensuring compliance with international trade policies.
About the Role
As a Specialist, Global Trade – Americas Customs, you will lead daily tactical import entry processes, assist with strategic program management of customs initiatives, support implementation of import compliance programs, drive collection of import data, develop customs-related automation initiatives, perform import declaration auditing, and remain updated on global trade-related geopolitical events. You will also support business travel up to 20% of the time.
About You
Required:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.
Experience managing U.S. import compliance activities, including U.S. Customs requirements and commercial import documentation.
Experience with computer tools such as Office 365.
Preferred:
Licensed Customs Broker.
Project Management experience.
Experience utilizing SAP/GTS, Smartsheet, Microsoft Access, and other web-based tools to support trade compliance activities.
Experience with Collins/RTX current trade compliance related processes and systems.
