About the Role
As a Specialist, Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for research, development of layouts, preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with various teams. You will lead engineers in the design of aircraft structure modifications, incorporate feedback from stakeholders, and ensure designs meet requirements at minimum cost. The role requires familiarity with CAD tools and the ability to work in an aircraft production environment.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior Mechanical Engineering experience within the Aerospace industry.
- Minimum 2 years CAD skills (NX/Unigraphics preferred, ProE, Catia).
- Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred:
- Active Secret Clearance.
- Familiar with aircraft systems or structure.
- Familiarity with aircraft structural repairs, STC’s, or general modification.
- Excellent written, verbal, communication skills.
- Computer skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
