Summary
Amgen is seeking a Specialty Account Manager for TEPEZZA in Endocrinology to join their team in Austin, TX. The role involves representing TEPEZZA to healthcare professionals, establishing product sales, and managing territory accounts.
About the Role
As a Specialty Account Manager, you will develop and execute a territory business plan, promote TEPEZZA ethically, address access and reimbursement issues, build strong customer relationships, and drive product demand through education. You will also coordinate with field teams and manage promotional budgets while adhering to compliance policies.
About You
Required:
- Doctorate degree & 2 years of collective account management experience, sales, & commercial experience.
- Or Masters degree & 6 years of collective account management experience, sales, & commercial experience.
- Or Bachelor's degree & 8 years of collective account management experience, sales, & commercial experience.
- Or Associate degree & 10 years of collective account management experience, sales, & commercial experience.
Preferred:
- Buy-and-bill experience with documented success and/or biologic/infusion experience.
- Sales experience in Endocrinology, Ophthalmology, and/or rare/specialty disease states.
- Site of care and reimbursement experience.
- Experience working with institutions and integrated delivery networks.
- Pharma account management selling experience.
- Approximately 80% travel, including some overnight and weekend commitments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
