Millennium Health is seeking a Specimen Collector II to join their team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role involves collecting and processing patient specimens while providing exceptional customer service.
About the Role
As a Specimen Collector II, you will be responsible for collecting urine and oral fluid specimens, processing and packaging collections for shipping, and serving as an intermediary between the clinic and the laboratory. You will also record patient information, resolve specimen concerns, maintain inventory of collection supplies, and may require travel to multiple facilities.
About You
Required:
- 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years of experience in the medical field directly supporting patients.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate a smartphone and computer.
- Valid driver's license required.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred:
- 2+ years of customer service experience can be considered in place of medical experience.
- Medical insurance/billing and/or familiarity with medications/diagnostic codes.
