About the Role
As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will evaluate residents' functional needs, follow physician orders to treat and document care, assist in developing communication and swallowing decline prevention policies, participate in discharge planning, and provide education to residents and caregivers. You will also maintain accurate resident reports as required by regulatory agencies.
About You
Required:
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association or equivalent educational requirements.
Preferred:
- Solid computer skills with prior experience in electronic medical records (EMR).
