About the Role
About You
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Speech Language Pathologist Limited license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
- Strong communication, counseling, customer service, problem-solving, planning, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Specific clinical skills related to evaluating, testing, therapy, and counseling for speech/language and swallowing disorders.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Externship experience in speech language pathology in a medically related environment.
- Experience in communication, cognition, assistive, and augmentative communication disorders and dysphagia.
- Experience with Modified Barium Swallow Test (MBS) or Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing with Sensory Testing (FEEST) and ventilator dependent patients.
