About the Role
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, hearing, cognitive, or swallowing issues. You will provide direct patient treatment under a physician's direction, develop individualized treatment programs, and conduct rehabilitative treatment to restore communicative efficiency. Additionally, you will administer specialized tests, instruct residents and families, maintain patient records, and devise special tools for patient needs.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Masters or Doctorate in Speech Language Pathology.
- State license as a speech pathologist required.
- Knowledge and skills to care for patient needs of the SNF population.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
Preferred:
- Proficiency with all applicable state, federal, and professional standards.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to travel as needed to perform job.
