About the Role
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for conducting diagnostic evaluations for speech, cognition, and swallowing disorders, implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining accurate documentation of patient progress. You will also perform video fluoroscopic studies and may float to acute care and outpatient settings as needed.
About You
Required:
- Master's Degree in Speech Pathology.
- NC Speech Language Pathology License.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence.
- Experience with video fluoroscopic studies.
Preferred:
- Experience with Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) and managing tracheostomies/Passy-Muir Valve (PMV).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel and float between different sites.
