About the Role
As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will make home visits to clients, perform evaluations to assess and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties, and develop treatment plans. You will also educate patients and their families, document care management, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary health care team to provide rehabilitative care.
About You
Required:
- A current license as a Speech Language Pathologist in North Carolina.
- Possess a certificate of clinical competence in speech from the American Speech and Hearing Association, or equivalent educational requirements.
Preferred:
- Prior home care experience as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
