About the Role
As a Spooling Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing coated or uncoated wire and cable for properties such as electrical resistance and size. You will read specifications, measure wire for size and defects, examine for defects, record test results, respool cables according to customer specifications, and perform final inspections of spools. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months to one year of work experience is preferred.
- Demonstrates ability to self-motivate and to problem solve in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Must have good documentation practice.
- A proven understanding of part workmanship.
- Must be capable and willing to share knowledge and train associates.
- Ability to analyze data and make recommendations.
- Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing defects.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to seek and accept feedback from others.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
