About the Role
As a Sports Park Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient park operations during tournaments, leagues, rentals, and special events. You will mentor and develop staff, promote a positive work environment, and address operational challenges. Your role will also include monitoring staffing levels, identifying operational improvements, and maintaining high standards of customer service.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Parks & Recreation, Sports Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field or minimum of 3-5 years of progressively responsible experience in athletic facility operations, parks & recreation, food service management, event operations, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising part-time, seasonal, or youth staff.
- Experience with inventory control, cost tracking, or revenue management.
- Experience coordinating athletic facilities, tournaments, leagues, rentals, or multi-field scheduling.
- Experience overseeing concession or food service operations, including point-of-sale systems.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Valid driver's license.
Preferred:
- 3+ years of experience in athletic facility or sports complex operations.
- Experience in inventory control and cost management.
- Experience managing conflict resolution with coaches, parents, officials, and youth athletes.
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to program growth, sponsorship coordination, or operational improvements.
- CPR/AED & First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
- ServSafe Food Protection Manager certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days).
