About the Role
As a Sports Reporter, you will be responsible for planning, gathering, and assembling stories for newscasts, working with or without a photographer to create engaging video content. You will develop a network of sources, contribute updates to mobile platforms, and maintain high journalistic standards while working under tight deadlines.
About You
Required:
- 2-5 years of past reporting experience.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills.
- Ability to operate mobile transmission devices and use the latest technology.
- Valid driver's license with a clear driving record.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated ability to enterprise and uncover stories.
- Experience working in all weather conditions and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work varied shifts, including overnights and weekends.
