About the Role
As a Sr Engineer, Innovation Excellence, you will lead engineering design and validation activities for new and existing cardiovascular products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine product specifications, support product lifecycle initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Additionally, you will identify process improvements and serve as a technical mentor to junior engineers.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Biomedical, or related); Master’s preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in medical device engineering, product development, or sustaining engineering.
- Deep technical expertise in cardiovascular or related medical device platforms.
- Experience supporting regulated product development (FDA, ISO, IEC standards).
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience with suppliers and manufacturing process development such as injection molding, machining or extrusion.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and proactively.
